How Mindful Bloom Supports NDIS Participants
Mindful Bloom provides trauma-informed, neurodivergent-friendly supports that help you build skills, confidence, and independence in real-life settings. Our approach blends mentoring, peer support, individual skill development, and advocacy, meeting you where you are and pacing things so progress feels steady, not stressful.
Supports can include:
Navigating life transitions and system changes
Developing communication and self-advocacy skills
Building confidence to participate in community, education, or employment
Strengthening executive functioning and daily-living routines
Planning, preparation, and follow-up around NDIS goals or meetings
Sessions can take place in person, online, or by phone, and may include reasonable non-face-to-face time such as preparation, documentation, or liaising with your support team.
Claiming & Funding Options
Mindful Bloom services can be accessed by plan-managed or self-managed participants.
Depending on your goals and the structure of your plan, supports may be claimed from either:
Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation
(Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports)
or
Core – Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation
(Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities)

What to Expect Before We Start
Before any supports begin, we’ll take a moment to make sure everything feels clear and comfortable for you.
Here’s what that looks like:
1. Discovery Call
A gentle, no-pressure chat (15 minutes) where you can share what’s going on, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work. If we both agree it’s a good fit, we’ll move forward with a Service Agreement.
2. Service Agreement
Before starting NDIS-funded support, we’ll complete a simple written Service Agreement together. It sets out what you can expect from me, how supports will be delivered, and how communication and billing will work. It’s collaborative, flexible, and designed in plain language — so you stay in full control of your plan and progress.
You’ll receive your agreement to review and sign before we start, and you’re welcome to suggest any adjustments to make sure it reflects your needs.
3. First Session
Once the agreement is in place, we’ll book your first support session. We’ll take things at your pace — focusing on what feels most important to you, whether that’s calming the chaos, building systems, or tackling a specific goal.
Rates & Inclusions
Mindful Bloom follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (National Price Guide). Our rates are set within these national limits and are fully transparent.
Prices include:
Direct support time (face-to-face, online or via phone)
Preparation, follow-up, and documentation directly related to your support
Provider travel (within NDIS guidelines)
Activity-based transport when part of a booked session
Short-notice cancellation provisions as defined by the NDIS
All bookings are confirmed in writing and supported by a Service Agreement outlining inclusions, expectations, and communication preferences.
Booking Your Session
Discovery Call – 15 minutes
A free, no-pressure chat where you can share what’s going on, ask questions, and see if my approach feels like the right fit. If it does, we’ll complete a simple Service Agreement before getting started.
First Steps Session – 60 minutes
Your initial working session. Together we’ll map out your goals, clarify next steps, and start building systems that fit your life and your NDIS plan.
Ongoing Supports or Mentoring Blocks
Flexible scheduling — weekly, fortnightly, or as-needed — so you can move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
