Supports I Provide

I provide two main NDIS supports: Capacity Building and Core supports. These supports are designed to help participants navigate life transitions, build confidence, strengthen communication, and participate more safely and consistently in everyday life.

Support may include practical planning, meeting preparation, skill development, in-the-moment participation support, and money mapping (budgeting and practical organisation support).

My supports are non-clinical. I do not provide Support Coordination, formal advocacy or representation, therapy or counselling, crisis support, or legal or financial advice.

My role is to support participants to build confidence, organise next steps, and participate safely and independently in line with their NDIS goals.

  • Skills, planning & confidence over time

My Capacity Building supports focus on helping the participant build clarity, confidence, and practical skills over time — especially during life transitions or periods of rebuilding.

This often looks like supporting the participant through housing changes, separation, new routines, or major decisions in a structured and manageable way. Supports may include breaking down appointments, paperwork, and next steps so they feel less overwhelming, as well as developing simple planning systems, communication strategies, and personalised tools that support organisation and confidence.

I also offer “money mapping” as part of Capacity Building — supporting the participant to organise bills, budgeting, and financial decision-making in a practical, non-advice-based way that strengthens independence and confidence.

The focus is always on building capacity so the participant relies less on support over time. These supports are non-clinical, trauma-informed, and complement (but do not replace) therapy or Support Coordination.

  • Support in the moment

My Core supports focus on supporting the participant to participate safely and confidently in real-life situations as they happen.

This may involve attending appointments or community activities alongside the participant, providing real-time communication support, supporting emotional regulation during stressful interactions, and supporting the participant to express preferences and boundaries clearly in the moment.

Core support is about reducing immediate barriers so the participant can show up, participate, and feel more secure during appointments, meetings, or community engagement. Supports are responsive and practical, without shifting into long-term planning, systems learning, or coordination.

These supports are non-clinical, trauma-informed, and delivered within NDIS Core funding.
